OYYO AI NotzUp: Capture All · Help
Capture All guides
Capture, understand, review and keep your work under your control. These guides describe supported native workflows; browser features and provider availability are qualified separately.
- Barcode and QR Inventory is mobile-only, currently Android only, and available exclusively on Pro and Organization.
- Name and brand hints are unverified.
- Web search and single-code lookup are user initiated.
- Content and inventory backups are encrypted on device before upload and require MFA setup.
- The recovery key never reaches NotzUp; losing all key copies makes prior backups unrecoverable.
- Settings backup is different from content backup.
- All inference runs on your own awake authorized device.
- Google Play is a closed test, not a public production release.
On-device translation profiles
Android · 1000025
Android closed-test build 1000025 includes device-local translation profiles. Choose a destination language; the supported ML Kit language pack downloads on first use, which requires an internet connection.
Once the pack is installed, the source and translation stay on your device. Choose a profile, review the result and use Edit & approve to save only that exact source, language and profile correction in private on-device translation memory.
- Faithful — preserves the original structure.
- Natural context — keeps paragraphs, lists and punctuation together.
- Playful — a light local style for English and Italian.
- Napoletano beta / Barese beta — experimental device-local Italian style profiles. Review every result; they do not claim full dialect coverage.
Accessibility
Read result sections aloud with an installed offline Android voice. Install a missing offline voice for your language in Android settings.
- Use Stop reading to end playback. NotzUp follows Android display and font-size settings and provides spoken labels for primary screen-reader controls.
Android phones, tablets and foldables
The touch interface adapts to phones, tablets and foldables. Google TV is not supported.
- On phones, camera controls stay visible above the result sheet. Tablets and unfolded foldables use a camera/results layout; touch controls adapt to the screen.
Matching keys, source devices and storage pools
- AES-256-GCM encryption happens on the source device before upload. Key setup and management require verified 2FA. The recovery key is never uploaded.
- A new or regenerated key cannot decrypt old backups. Retain the matching key for each backup; losing every copy makes that backup unrecoverable.
- Authorized mobile and desktop devices share the selected personal or Organization pool; the pools are separate. Web and app show quota, files, source device and dates. Download or delete the exact authorized file; restore/decryption runs locally in a compatible app, not on the website.
- On a new installation, sign in, authorize the device, verify 2FA, import the matching key and select a dated backup from a specific source device. Review the local restore before replacing work. Enrolled devices and supported session controls are in Settings; settings snapshots are not content backups.
Your personal public booking page
- Every signed-in user has a personal shareable booking link. Set your handle, availability, duration, buffers and minimum notice to make the page bookable. Guests choose in their own timezone; conflict prevention rechecks the slot at confirmation.
- Confirm, reschedule or cancel with the private management link; keep it private. Optional ICS downloads are available. Calendar providers receive selected event details only after explicit authorization and verified configuration.
Recordings, files, searches, scans, OCR, barcode counts and supported local-AI results do not leave the device by default. Only a deliberate online action—Share, Search online, connector authorization or encrypted backup—transmits the selected data or value. Language-pack downloads do not upload the source text.

Workflow questions
How do I use capture and import?
An imported local file with a reviewed result ready for editing and export. A signed-in account and a supported native installation; browser import supports text, Markdown and transcripts, not the entire native media workflow.
Import or playback fails
Check that the file is complete, readable and supported by this device. Make a compatible copy locally and retry; do not send private files to an online converter.
Recording is unavailable
Review OS permissions and capture restrictions. Browser audio recording is not native screen or system-audio recording. Android may block other-app audio, protected playback or call capture. Check the source app, codec and OS permission; no workaround or cloud fallback is promised.
How do I use media transcription?
Download a compatible local speech pack first, then import authorized audio/video and choose a supported language or mixed-language option. Keep the device awake, transcribe locally and check the transcript and summary against the source. Offline translation and audio/music measurements depend on available local tasks.
No transcript
Confirm the file actually has an audible speech track, then check codec, model and language support. Use Visual analysis for silent video.
Processing is slow or inaccurate
Keep the device awake, free resources and use clearer audio or a suitable supported model. Review output manually; automatic text is not a verified record.
How do I use visual understanding?
Reviewed descriptions, labels and extracted text, including for sampled frames of silent video. An authorized image, screenshot, scan, document image or supported video.
Incorrect label or hint
Correct it in the workspace. Improve lighting/resolution and check visible text; never assume the model verified a brand or identified a face.
A video event is missing
Sampled frames are not exhaustive. Inspect playback locally and supply a clearer image of the relevant moment if supported.
How do I use barcode and qr inventory?
Use the Android app with Pro or Organization. Single mode reads only when tapped; copy a code or choose an online search. Inventory records manual or controlled Start/Stop scans, keeps repeated codes as quantities, compares imported CSV/XLS/XLSX expected counts and exports CSV, Excel or PDF. Web and desktop have no inventory scanner.
Inventory is missing
Check that you are using Android mobile and the selected account/workspace has Pro or Organization access. Web and desktop do not have this inventory scanner.
Unexpected duplicate or unknown item
Stop auto-scan, compare the physical item, check leading zeros and the catalog barcode/location mapping, then correct the count manually.
Spreadsheet import looks wrong
Use the sample schema, keep identifiers as text and quantities numeric, and review delimiter, worksheet and header mapping offered by your installed version.
How do I use file workspace and exports?
Reviewed, editable results and deliberate section exports, a full branded printable PDF or a complete ZIP package. A supported native media file with locally generated results.
A tab is empty
Confirm the source supports that result: silent video has no speech transcript; a speech-only file may have no visual text. Run the relevant supported local task.
Export fails or prints poorly
Check local free space and file permissions, shorten the file name if needed, and inspect the PDF print preview and spreadsheet columns before retrying.
How do I use encrypted backup and storage?
Encrypted content in the correct shared pool and a locally restored compatible dated backup using the matching recovery key. A signed-in account, an authorized device and available storage in the selected personal or Organization pool.
MFA required
Complete fresh authenticator verification and retry. Do not bypass MFA or confuse authenticator credentials with the content recovery key.
Restore fails
Check pool access, backup compatibility, file integrity and matching key fingerprint. Try the correct older key for an older backup. Without any matching key copy there is no recovery.
Quota exceeded or file absent
Check the selected pool and current usage. Safely export/retain needed data before deleting authorized files; verify membership and device authorization for cross-device restore.
How do I use accounts, devices and security?
The correct signed-in space, reviewed devices and verified MFA for protected operations, without changing plan limits. Your own verified account and access to its sign-in method.
Cannot enroll another device
Check the current server-reported device allowance and existing authorizations. Do not infer an Organization device allowance from its seat count.
Access or MFA rejected
Confirm the account, active membership, current session and authenticator verification. A recovery key does not substitute for account access or MFA.
How do I use notifications?
A reviewed notification center and intentional channel preferences. A signed-in account; for mobile push, a registered supported installation and explicit OS permission.
No mobile alert
Check OS permission, device registration, connection and channel availability. Open the in-app center; real device delivery is not guaranteed by an event row.
An old item remains unread
Refresh the current account view and use mark-read; bulk actions affect only your authorized notification items.
How do I use sharing?
A deliberate shared projection for the named authorized recipient, with reviewable expiry/revocation. Content you own or are authorized to publish, and a known intended recipient.
Recipient cannot open
Check exact verified identity, expiry, revocation and acceptance. Do not bypass identity checks or publish a broad public copy as a workaround.
Edits do not appear
A published shared version is frozen. Review and publish a new intended version rather than assuming existing recipients see all edits.
How do I use calendar and bookings?
Set your personal handle, timezone, weekly availability, event duration, buffers and minimum notice in Calendar. Share the active public page; guests choose a time without an account. Confirmation rechecks conflicts. Keep the private link for rescheduling/cancellation; .ics is optional and external calendars need real authorization/configuration.
No slot available
Check availability, buffers, notice, timezone and current booking allowance. Rescheduling does not count as a new confirmed booking; cancellation does not refund the monthly count.
No Meet link or invitation
Review the host's owned-calendar consent and live connector status. A successful booking can coexist with pending/failed provider creation; do not invent a meeting URL.
How do I use connectors?
A deliberately authorized, truthfully reported provider capability, or a clear setup/error state. A signed-in account and an available configured provider.
Setup required or reauthorization
Check provider configuration and requested scopes, then reconnect explicitly when available. Do not mistake social sign-in for connector access.
Disconnect still appears at the provider
Local disconnection stops NotzUp's local use; it does not claim external provider permission was revoked. Review the provider account's own permission controls.
Can NotzUp recover a lost encryption key?
No. If every copy of the matching recovery key is lost, existing encrypted backups cannot be recovered. MFA and account passwords are not substitutes for that key. Regenerating creates a different key: keep the old matching key for older backups. Download protected .notzup-key copies before forgetting a browser key.
Is a settings snapshot a content backup?
No. Settings snapshots hold supported preferences, not media results, transcripts or inventory. Use encrypted content backup for compatible results and inventory.
Are faces or brands identified?
No. Visual understanding can count faces and suggest labels/name hints from visible text. It does not establish identity or a verified brand match. External searches happen only when you explicitly request them.
Is the Android app publicly available on Google Play?
The Play mobile release is a closed test for eligible invited testers, not a public production release. Existing official direct APK previews remain separate; use the download page for their disclosures.
Which translation profiles ship on Android?
Android closed-test build 1000025 includes device-local translation profiles. Choose a destination language; the supported ML Kit language pack downloads on first use, which requires an internet connection. Once the pack is installed, the source and translation stay on your device. Choose a profile, review the result and use Edit & approve to save only that exact source, language and profile correction in private on-device translation memory. Faithful — preserves the original structure. Natural context — keeps paragraphs, lists and punctuation together. Playful — a light local style for English and Italian. Napoletano beta / Barese beta — experimental device-local Italian style profiles. Review every result; they do not claim full dialect coverage. Explore the broader future OYYO Language capability. These NotzUp profiles already ship locally; the broader product remains a future roadmap.
How do I read aloud or adjust text on Android?
Read result sections aloud with an installed offline Android voice. Install a missing offline voice for your language in Android settings. Use Stop reading to end playback. NotzUp follows Android display and font-size settings and provides spoken labels for primary screen-reader controls.
Which Android devices and scanner layouts are supported?
The touch interface adapts to phones, tablets and foldables. Google TV is not supported. On phones, camera controls stay visible above the result sheet. Tablets and unfolded foldables use a camera/results layout; touch controls adapt to the screen.
How do Single and Inventory scanning modes work?
Exclusive to the mobile app, currently Android, with Pro or Organization only—not Plus, web or desktop. Single mode reads only after you tap the on-camera Scan code button. No tap means no scan. Copy keeps the code local; Search online deliberately sends the selected code for lookup. In Inventory mode, Scan one reads one code after a tap. Start auto deliberately enables automatic scanning; Stop auto ends it. Without a tap there is no scan unless auto mode is explicitly active. Use the torch when needed and choose retail, QR, warehouse or all-format profiles for the codes you expect. On phones, camera controls remain visible above the result sheet; tablets and foldables show camera and results together. Repeated codes become quantities and remain in chronological history. Name the session and review counts before reconciling or exporting. Import CSV, XLS or XLSX with Description, Article ID, Barcode, expected Quantity, Warehouse, Location and Unit. Compare expected, scanned, difference and updated quantity; review matched, short, over and unlisted items. Export CSV, Excel with detailed and totals sheets, or a branded PDF. Check quantities and unknown items first. Export is not an automatic share or online search.
How do matching keys and cross-device backup restore work?
AES-256-GCM encryption happens on the source device before upload. Key setup and management require verified 2FA. The recovery key is never uploaded. A new or regenerated key cannot decrypt old backups. Retain the matching key for each backup; losing every copy makes that backup unrecoverable. Authorized mobile and desktop devices share the selected personal or Organization pool; the pools are separate. Web and app show quota, files, source device and dates. Download or delete the exact authorized file; restore/decryption runs locally in a compatible app, not on the website. On a new installation, sign in, authorize the device, verify 2FA, import the matching key and select a dated backup from a specific source device. Review the local restore before replacing work. Enrolled devices and supported session controls are in Settings; settings snapshots are not content backups.
How do I share my personal booking page?
Every signed-in user has a personal shareable booking link. Set your handle, availability, duration, buffers and minimum notice to make the page bookable. Guests choose in their own timezone; conflict prevention rechecks the slot at confirmation. Confirm, reschedule or cancel with the private management link; keep it private. Optional ICS downloads are available. Calendar providers receive selected event details only after explicit authorization and verified configuration.
What leaves my device?
Recordings, files, searches, scans, OCR, barcode counts and supported local-AI results do not leave the device by default. Only a deliberate online action—Share, Search online, connector authorization or encrypted backup—transmits the selected data or value. Language-pack downloads do not upload the source text.
